Rich Haag brings more than 30 years of communications experience and a decade of small-business management to clients of Green Moose.
His goal is to help Green Moose clients develop the right messages and choose the delivery methods most in tune with their audiences.
Rich holds advanced degrees in journalism from The Ohio State University and in business administration from the McColl School at Queens University. He also is a member of the International Association of Business Communicators - Charlotte Chapter.
During nearly 30 years with The Charlotte Observer and several community magazines, Rich reported on topics ranging from community events and neighborhood issues to planning, growth and transportation. He spent much of the last decade handling the day-to-day finances of up to 10 community publications including Lake Norman, University City, Lake Wylie and SouthPark magazines.
Since leaving The Observer in 2008, Rich has created and overseen e-newsletters for University City Partners, a municipal service district near UNC Charlotte; developed websites and website content for nonprofit and business clients; and advised groups on dealing with local media.
